Belarus ready for more active work on joint projects with Ecuador
30 September, Minsk (BelTA) – Belarus is ready for more active work on joint projects with Ecuador. The relevant statement was made during the meeting of Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ecuador to Belarus Carlos Humberto Larrea Davila, the press service of the Upper Chamber of the Belarusian Parliament told BelTA.
The participants discussed Belarus-Ecuador cooperation. “I am glad our agreements are being actively implemented, which makes our cooperation effective”, noted Mikhail Myasnikovich. He described prospects of bilateral cooperation in manufacturing and construction, emphasized the experience of “Belzarubezhstroy” and other Belarusian companies in infrastructure recovery after earthquakes. The Chairman of the Council of the Republic underlined that Belarus is ready for more active work on joint projects, including those within the national governmental programs of Ecuador.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the support provided by Belarus, including humanitarian aid to the regions hit by earthquakes.
The participants also discussed current cooperation in agriculture, manufacturing, and other issues of mutual concern.
